MDC End Seals for chambered doctor blade systems

High quality and correctly shaped end seals are vitally important to the flexo print process and are key to extending the doctor blade life.

Many problems on the press can come from an incorrect shaped or poor-quality end seal.

When the dimensions of the end seal are incorrect and don’t fit the anilox roller or the chamber, the sealing will be poor and as a result more pressure is generally applied to the chamber on the anilox to try and resolve the issue.

This in turn increases the contact area of the doctor blades, which can then result in the following problems on press:

Daetwyler UK offer high quality flexo end seals for all makes and models of flexo printing presses.
